The circumstances and conditions of all students are individual. Some students have special needs or challenges that need to be taken into account. These may include students with chronic illnesses or disabilities, international students, students with children, queer students or students in degree programs with special requirements (e.g. music students).
Universities strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. This can include, for example, support for students with disabilities in the form of barrier-free access, technical aids or individually adapted learning materials.
International students may need support with language barriers, cultural differences or legal issues. Students with children may need flexible learning options or childcare support.
Queer students may experience discrimination or disadvantage, which is why they also need support. There are advice centers and services in Würzburg that are specifically designed to support these target groups. Make use of them!
